This Thursday, May 5, we will have Brian Ferris visiting for a guest lecture in Intro to CS.
Brian is a Ph.D. student in Computer Science and Engineering at the UW. He will be speaking about OneBusAway, the system he and other UW students developed to provide real-time transit information in the Puget Sound area.
OneBusAway aims “to make it easier to use public transit by providing easy access to schedule and real-time arrival information for the buses and trains you ride every day.”
